Hi Angie!
My why for maintaining my weight loss is so that I will never have to take blood pressure medication or cholesterol medication!! When I started really focusing on my health back in January 2007, my BP was 168/101 and my cholesterol was 220, and the doctor was threatening to put me on medications. I told him no, and I got my health back through diet and exercise. I am now enjoying a regulated blood pressure WITHOUT medication, and a cholesterol level of 170!!! Hallelujah!!!
That’s my why….
I have many facets to my “why”..I want to be fit and healthy, I don’t want to be a fat old lady. I can visualize myself very easily and I do, because I can “look” into my past and see where I was and never, never wanna go back..so the only other thing I can do is go forward.
@Sallie ~ That is so great! You have done such an amazing job! GREAT “why’!
@Clarissa~what a wonderful “why”! Good for you for saying no to medication and being determined enough to do it on your own ! Kudos to you girl! You are an inspiration to others!
My why is because I want dance and swim and run until I’m old, even though some would say I’m already there, I want my body to feel as young as my mind and if I continue to get in better shape I know that’s possible.
