Twist to the Side Plank

Last Saturday, before taking off to the mountains for the weekend, I did my Turbulence Training workout. In the workout, I did side planks. Craig had it written to do set of 5×5. Well, I took it as doing 5 repetitions of side planks and hold for 5 seconds, each side and count that as one set. So this is what I did. It was not as intense as holding it for 30 seconds or a minute, but I could still feel it AND I can still feel them today!

So for those of you who are just starting out doing the side planks, this is a great way to do this exercise. I posted a video below of the side plank, so that you can make sure you have the correct form. Give this little twist to the side plank a try and let me know how it works for you!
