Spring Challenge Updates…

“I also went to see my doctor today and all of my other “numbers” are great! Blood pressure 100/66, Pulse 68, Cholesterol 168 (less than 200 is what they want to see), LDL 66 (less than 100 is optimal), HDL 79 (HDL of 60 or higher protects against heart disease – yay!), and Triglycerides 113 (under 150 is normal). The triglycerides number makes me especially happy because a little over a year ago it was over 200! So high that they put me on fish oil supplements and told me that I needed to start exercising regularly and eating more nutritiously. Frankly, I didn’t really believe that consistently working out would have that big of an impact, but I’m so glad I was wrong!”
