Killer Fat Burning Circuit

For all you kettlebell fans out there, I have a great workout that I tried for the first time with my Fit Chick Express group this morning.

It begins like this…a brisk 6am and the sun is just slightly starting to rise. I set up 3 KB’s and 3 mats, got my workout muse up and ready to go and waited patiently for my ladies to arrive. As they approach, they both recognize the kettlebells, one slightly experience and one a newbie, but both excited! The newbie got the 15lb KB, slightly experienced got 20lb KB and lucky me, took the 26lb KB.

Here is what we did:

IMG00102This workout kicked my butt! I was a little sore fromĀ  yesterdays workout (sore in places I haven’t been in a long time!!) So my legs were already struggling. I did every exercise with the 26lb KB for the first 2 sets, and the last 2 sets I just did the lunges and split squat with no weight, because my legs were shaking so much. I wish I would have been wearing my HR moniter, because I had to stop to catch my breath quite a few times as well.

We all finished strong and the other ladies loved the workout! I was happy because I knew having worked that hard, I would get to eat a nice BIG breakfast, and so I did.

I had chicken sausage, sweet potatoes, spinach, red peppers and eggs. Oh and had my coffee with protein powder as well.

If you are looking to burn some extreme calories, give this circuit a try!

  1. I would like to see this as a video on the Fit Chick site as a monthly workout. I would not like to try it by myself because I am not to sure about some of the exercises until I see them. Would be great.
    Thanks

  2. Looks good. How long did it take you in total??

  3. My workouts are never any longer than 30 minutes and that includes warm up and cool down.
