I Love My Morning Coffee…

…and have tried to give it up numerous times, but just can’t! I have tried replacing it with tea, that lasted about a week. I just like the warm taste and smell in the morning.  I was even drinking decaf for a while, then went to half decaf, then full decaf and I think that might be one of the reasons I have all these crazy cravings and headaches!

So I am back to my decaf coffee. Now as for what I put IN my coffee…well, its not the healthiest of choices. Usually some sugar free creamer and yes, I know it has corn syrup in it, but I only use 1TBSP each day. But NOW I am going to even try and cut that habit..not sure how long it will last, but we will see.

Some other things that I like to add to my coffee: coconut oil, gives it a yummy coconuty flavor and also makes your lips soft! ;0) I add cinnamon sometimes to add a little pick me up. I am going to try adding some vanilla whey protein powder (got the idea from starbucks) and see how that works. It tasted good at starbucks!

My “treat” coffee is a soy, sugar-free hazelnut latte from Starbucks. Love them!! But like I said…they are just a treat!

  1. I absolutely love skinny lattes. I’m one of those people who will drink black coffee, so the sugar doesn’t get me. But the frothy milk…yum.
