Great New Exercise and Nutrition Websites…

I was searching online yesterday, looking for more great information to share with my readers, when I stumbled upon 2 great sites to help aid in your fitness goals! What better way to start out 2008, than with 2 great FREE nutrition and exercise websites!

figwee jpgThe first one is a nutrition diary, like sparkspeople.com or fitday.com. It’s called Figwee.com, a funny name, don’t you think? It’s still in its beta phase (means they are still testing it out) but they say if you try it out now, while its in the beta phase, you will receive a lifelong membership to the site. Which I am assuming means, eventually it will be come a paid site. Instead of entering food names, you do a search for your food and enter it by the picture they give you, like the one above. It’s much easier to enter your foods than sparks and you can add your activities for the day the same way. You enter the word running and they give you all sorts of photos to choose from, and you choose which bests represents your activity. I think its worth the free test drive and I will continue to use it. Go check it out and let us know your opinion of Figwee.com

The other site that I stumbled onto is called MyFreeTrainer.com. It has options available for men and women and then from there you can choose Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced workouts. They also have videos to show you how to do the exercises and you can also upload them to your ipod! They also give out nutrition and fitness tips. Oh yea, and did I mention its FREE? Go visit MyFreeTrainer.com and get all your workouts for the week already planned for you!

  3. This is another great site. This is a site that is entirely user-content driven. You can post your exercise techniques (and/or link from youtube).
