Cook Book to Aid with Fat Loss
If you are like me, you are always looking for new HEALTHY recipes to spice things up. I get stuck on the same old stuff time and time again. I have a whole drawer full of cookbooks, but my latest addition is one that my good friend Moe Jeanson put together. It’s full of recipes that helped her to lose over 90 pounds and she has kept if off for over 6 years!

I have tried numerous recipes out of this cookbook, which are so quick and easy. Perfect for my busy schedule!
Some of my favorites are the Turkey Burgers with Sweet and Sour Onions, the Mexican Burgers, the Honey Kissed Granola, (which Iburnt the first batch, but the second batch was so yummy! I used it for traveling !) The Pumpkin pancakes are amazing!
Each recipe has the nutrition facts with a cute little pie chart of the amount of protein, carbs and fat, which is most important for myself, when tracking my meals. I have to post my favorite so far though..the Dirt Balls..sounds weird but tastes delicious!
DIRT BALLS
(14 servings)
.25 c toasted old fashioned oats
2 TBSP dry roasted sunflower seeds chopped
.5 cup natural peanut butter
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
.25 cup chopped bittersweet chocolate
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp roasted amonds, finely chopped
1 small packed stevia or 3 tbsp honey
Toast oats in skilled on medium heat for about 20 minutes. Combine rest of ingredients except for almonds. Mixe really well with strong fork. When oats are finished, chop them in food processor. Put into mix and combine well.
Put almonds in small boal for rolling onto the balls.
If mix is too sticky, set in fridge for 30 minutes or so. Make small balls about 3/4 of inch across, roll in your hands then roll in almonds. Store in fridge.
