Achieve A Goal!

I am pleased to let you know that I have invited Tammy from A Mom In Red High Heels to be a part of this blog. She will be adding beauty and style tips to help us look hot and sexy when we reach those fitness goals and can wear those ’skinny jeans’. Here is a great post she has on her blog. Remember, you need to take care of YOU first before you can take care of everyone else!

Achieve A Goal

By Tammy | December 14, 2007

Set a goal today that you will attain by this time next week. Whether it’s adding another day of exercise to your routine, drinking another glass of water a day, adding one new client to your portfolio, finishing a project, or making contact with an old friend.

Achieve it in the next seven days.

From Live The Life You Crave – Its All About You by Heather Reider and Mary Goulet. (This book is a great gift for any mom that you know!)

10 beauty and fashion goals you may think about achieving:woman applying gloss

1. Apply lip gloss instead of chapstick. You’ll add shimmer and shine to your smile!

2. Wear dangling earrings to draw attention to your face.

3. Wear cute flats instead of your tennis shoes.

4. Take 10 minutes to treat yourself to a facial. Your skin will glow with appreciation.

5. Buy a scented lotion that will have you smelling yummy all day long. Plus, your skin will be thankful for the moisture in this dry weather of winter!

6. Give yourself a pedicure. Who cares if noone sees it? You will and it will make you smile!

7. If nothing else, use an eyelash curler and wear mascara to really open up your tired mama eyes.

8. If you don’t already, put on moisturizer every morning! Try a tinted one instead of foundation.

9. Use teeth whitening products to help your smile look brighter. Use whitening toothpaste instead of your regular toothpaste- what an easy thing to do!

10. Try your hair in a different style. Part it on the opposite side or wear a new hair accessory. Have fun with your hair- you’ll learn new ways to wear your hair and have a few back-up options for bad hair days!

If you are looking for a change in your appearance start with small steps to ease you into the routine. These small goals take very little time, just a change in thinking.

Leave me a comment and let me know what your goal is! It’s fun to read what others are doing so we can encourage one another!
